Support available

If your group or organisation is based in the local areas you can get advice and support from a number of places. The support which is right for you will depend on the type of group or organisation you are, and the type of support you’re seeking. Listed below are some of the organisations we work with.

We are here to help you find the support that is available to you. If you’re confused by what support is available or don’t know where to start, just get in touch with us on info@bhcommunityworks.org.uk or 01273 234023

We work with others

We work with the organisations listed below to ensure that the support you receive is the best that it can be. You can expect us all to observe the following principles:

  • communication and collaboration: support providers commit to open, honest and ongoing dialogue with each other in order to find the best solution for you and ensure the best quality of support to local organisations and groups
  • clear expectations: support providers will give you clear information on the type of support they offer, whether you are able to access it and who else might be able to help if they can’t
  • getting you to the right place: with your permission support providers will share detail with other providers in their search for the people best able to help you with your query
  • confidentiality: support providers will ensure they are meeting statutory requirements and implementing good practice is how they handle your data and information. They will seek permission before sharing your information with a third party
  • improving services: support providers will plan for appropriate space and time to review support to groups, share learning and practice and plan for future activity with individual groups and across the city
  • accessibility: support providers commit to making services as accessible as possible
