I coordinate and improve the systems we use to deliver services to our members, and I sometimes answer the phone.

Membership, Events and Projects Coordinator
Works: Monday to Thursday
I plan most of our events and meetings, and I welcome new members when they join.

Works: Monday to Friday
I give one to one advice to our members, organise training and coordinate the mentoring programme.

I give advice to members, run the Volunteer Coordinators' Forum and I support the Community Centres Association meetings.

I help the team with administration support, office management, comms support and social media output.

I coordinate communications and marketing for Community Works.

I give volunteering good practice advice to organisations and manage the Volunteer Centre.

Most of my working life has been focused on supporting people and communities fighting for social justice and sustainability, particularly through the Fairtrade movement, and I’m delighted that my experience is useful as Chair of Trustees.

I'm the Chief Officer of Esteem and I bring my 17 years experience of south sector support and development, and specialism in power and participation to my role as a Community Works trustee.

It is my privilege to serve on the board of Community Works. It is a great organisation to offer my 30 years of experience in developing communities to support outstanding individuals and amazing community groups in my new home Brighton.
