Our directory lists details of the range of services and activities provided by our 560+ members, all of which are voluntary or community organisations based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing.

You can search the directory using an organisation’s name, or search by area, type of service, or client group. This directory can be updated, so if you spot any errors, get in touch with us on or 01273 234023, and we’ll do our best to update it.

If you’re a member you can check or change the details we hold on your organisation.

If you’re from a voluntary or community organisation based in Brighton, Hove, Adur or Worthing, you can apply to join us as a member. There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.


St Pauls Worthing Community Centre Project

Using profits from it's wholly owned subsidiary which runs a Cafe, Gallery, Entertainment, Events & Hire organisation, this charity maintains St Paul's, a Grade 2 listed building and community centre.

St Vincent de Paul Society (Brighton branch)

The SVP (St Vincent de Paul Society) is a christian voluntary organisation that provides a sympathetic ear and voluntary help. Our main work is visiting individuals and families living at home, in care homes, who need support and assistance.

Starlings Housing Co-op

Housing co-op working to provide affordable, social, sustainable housing.

Status Education CIC

Supporting people to find sustainable employment, develop new skills and gain independence.rnThe aim of Status Education CIC is to provide material and psychological solutions for those people in need in East and West Sussex.

Stay Up Late

Stay up Late is a registered charity which promotes full and active social lives for people with learning disabilities. We do this through advocacy, training, influencing decision makers, and providing opportunities. We also run the Gig Buddies volunteer befriending project across Brighton and Hove and East and West Sussex.

Stopover Housing and Support for Young Women

Provides safe, temporary accommodation with support for vulnerable young women aged 16-21 who are homeless or insecurely housed. Also teenage parent connections P.A. Support.

Strike a Light

Strike A Light is a not for profit community arts organisation led by Nicola Benge, a committed, experienced community artist and reminiscence facilitator. We use people's life stories and memories and make art to transform public and private spaces.


STRIVE (Socialising Together Regularly Inspiring Volunteering & Enjoyment) is a support group for individuals who have long term chronic health conditions.

The group is for people within the Worthing/Adur community who are struggling to cope with their symptoms and are quite socially isolated. We aim to have different topics to support a general improvement in physical and mental wellbeing every fortnight with a “drop-in support service” every other Tuesday 11am – 1pm.
