There are lots of benefits to being a member, including discounted and prioritised access to our services. Once your application has been approved your details will also appear in this directory.
Samaritans provide 24/7 confidential, emotional support for people experiencing feelings of distress & despair. The service is mostly delivered by telephone, but also callers are seen face-to-face in the branch or people contact by email & text
To help young people, especially but not exclusively through leisure-time activities, so as to develop their capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society, and that their conditions of life may be improved.
Housing Advice Drop in for 16-25 year olds. Drop In open Monday-Friday 9am-12noon. Our drop in service offers support and advice to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
We can help young people look for accommodation in the private rented sector and negotiate with landlords, as well as help with benefits and referrals to specialist housing schemes.
Youth and community organisation. Our main activities include youth work advice and counselling, housing advice and provision, and key skills training. Supported by charity shops, with a variety of volunteering opportunities.
To provide housing advice and tenancy support to young people 16-25 to prevent youth homelessness.
Carers Centre provides a range of activities and groups for Young Carers, including school holiday activities, creative workshops or our term-time drop-in sessions.
These activities give Young Carers the opportunity to take a break from their caring role and build up their confidence and social network with other Young Carers. Each of these young people have something special in common – a caring role at home for a parent or sibling with a disability. This can be a long term or life limiting illness, a mental health condition or a substance misuse issue.
The Young People's Centre is a free space for young people, a safe haven to come and relax, chat to people and volunteers.
We provide services and support for young people aged 13-25 in partnership with other key agencies. We are managed by IMPACT INITIATIVES, a well-established local charity commited to addressing social and economic disadvantages across Sussex.
Drop-in services for 13-25 year olds (sexual health, listening support, computer, jobs/education, signposting and referral); Connexions Plus; community counselling, sexual health and NEET work; Experience in Mind training programme.
